The end of the day

Today I am still a bit feverish and taking it easy with my dog Pork under a blanket on the couch. The colour of the sky tonight was deep red with a bright little moon. It felt like the end of a wonderful warm day but in fact it was raining and cold all day long.I can hear the rain and the wind outside as I cuddle up with Pork and a cup of tea. Some lines by Kahlil Gibran are perfect to read on an evening like this one.
"Life kisses us on both cheeks Day and morn..." these lines often pup up in my head when I awake in the morning (and sometimes the last sentences of the poem too hihi)When I am not feeling well I start to eat much more than usual. It is a strange habit I inherited from my grandmother. A few veggie rolls are perfect and I can feel her approval as I place the plate on my lap :))So far today's post, I will give my attention now to the veggie rolls and go to sleep with a warm filled stomach :) A kiss on both cheeks for you and I wish you a lovely night or day :)

Hi Sas, hope you are feeling better today. Still enjoying reading your posts and looking at your lovely photos. By the way, I still haven't found someone to make me the shelves! :) Sonia

I'm sure Pork loves it to have you near him all day now on a comfy couch enjoying tea and poetry. there is no reason to get out of there, it is still so cold with snow and hail storms. enjoy a winter Easter and get well soon
