Today is orange/lilac

Today is lilac/orange; a beautiful exotic colour combination. Warm orange combines beautifully with deep purple and lilac colours. To underline the yellow colour of the wall I have added brass accessories. When you want to change the colour palette of your interior from time to time, then throws and pillows are the perfect decorating tools. To keep a balance make sure the colours return in the accessories or flowers arrangements. These little orange rolls are the perfect pillows to decorate with. They are very handy for a quick still life or to add colour. These ones are from India and have beautiful details.A quilt is an ideal colour guide. Just pick some colours from its palette and let them return in the accessories. Don't be afraid to mix different patterns. It gives an interior something intriguing. When you want to try something new just start with a little corner of your room. Add some pillows in new colours and some flowers in the same tones. It is so much fun to make new arrangements, just give it a try. It is a nice way to start the spring :))So far this lilac/orange post for today. I hope it gave you some new colour inspiration :) Haven't you seen your favourite colour palette here yet, just send me a mail :))

Delightful, as always! You are so inspiring. When is your book "Interior Inspirations" coming out, Sas? What you really must do is set up a stylist service for those of us who want to tie everything together as you obviously have such a knack for doing!

How did you choose the colours of your interior? Based upon your all time favourites? Also, how many colours in a scheme would you say are too many?

Since you also live in a small space, I'd love to know how you manage in the kitchen. Yours looks lovely. Am wondering if you've encountered storage issues as I have!

Sas, you never disappoint me! It was well worth the wait, trust me! I love the color combination. Frankly, anything you do seems to come out so well, you are truly talented! Each day I look at your blog, I am SO inspired and I desperately want to redecorate my home with the warm colors that I love so much. But my hubby is afraid of bold color and is in to neutrals. I might have to pick your brain to help me...take care and thanks!

What an amazing combo of these two colours. As always an truly inspiring post, thank you. My husband and I love bright colours - I can't think of life without them - we don't have a white wall in our home!

Lovely to hear that you are colour lovers too.

But I already thought you liked colour because of the name of your lovely blog :))
