Thoughts over tea

You can search throughout the entire universe
for someone who is more deserving

of your love and affection than you are yourself,
and that person is not to be found anywhere.

You yourself,
as much as anybody in the entire universe
deserve your love and affection.

Buddha

Today I am feeling much better again, it is always a relieve to share the dark moments of personal failure with someone or to write it down. This way you can place them in the light and in the light everything seems less intimidating then in the shadow.

I read this saying of the Buddha this morning and it made me smile. I can look at the mistakes of others with love but despite myself when I am struggling with my own lessons. By reading this I realized that I should treat my self with the same amount of love that I can feel for others. This saying really moved me and while drinking a cup of tea in the sun I felt tears in my eyes but I didn't felt sad at all anymore :)

Every time when I have the feeling that I have learnt another lesson I feel the happy need to clean myself and my house hihi. So today I am cleaning my home and I have all the windows open to let the fresh air come in. The sun even shines and while listening to Mozart I am washing my hair and clothes. It feels like a lovely new beginning, two steps forward.... :)

The burden of the self is lightened with I laugh at myself.

What I like about your blog is that even after so many posts you manage to keep the same positive uplifted kind spirited soul that we all know as "sas". You are so genuine and deeply spiritual and seem to see the goodness in others all the time that it reflects in your writings too. YOu are a truly gifted soul who always notices the goodness in others even at times when you might be feeling low. The gentle pace of your life which overflows on to your blog has a very calming effect on us readers too.
Visiting your blog is like visiting a monastery. It is truly a daily inspiration and much much more. The colors of your photographs are so inspiring . I am always in awe as to how you manage to get that orangish glow in all your photographs. What is your secret? The collage at the end of the page is breathtakingly beautiful.

Hello Sas,
Its arty_zen.I had not checked your blog since many days.Lovely quotes of Buddha and Tagore.Earlier you were such a Happy go lucky type of person, but now it looks like you are sad as you have said some dark moments of personal failure.I hope your health is fine and also take good care of it.I hope things turn in your favour and failures become success.
Wishing you peace and happiness always

This post is so heart warming. Love the shots (first one is awesome) and your thoughts. You explain what is going on in your mind (your confusions, your feelings) so simply and beautifully. It is an eye-opener for me too and reminds me that we are all probably in the same "struggle" called "life"..trying to find peace, love, calm and joy. Those quotes are beautiful...I read your blog more than Tagore and Buddha for inspiration...probably because you seem tangible and like one of us on earth :)) ..thanks Sas...Wishing happy days ahead for you...

I agree with arty_zen. I get the same feel through your posts that you seem to be sad now a days. Is everything ok?

Dear Vinita, Arty and Vani,

Don't worry, I am alright :)

Sometimes I find it difficult to stay calm while learning my lessons. At times like that I feel the need to rush it.

That is also a part of me and because I want this blog to be an honest self reflection you get to see this less beautiful side of me too. Otherwise it wouldn't feel real anymore to me.

Big hugs to all of you for the lovely feedback and take care :))

with love, Sas

Wherever there is light, there is shadow; wherever there is length, there is shortness; wherever there is white, there is black.
Just like these,
as the self-nature of things can not exist alone, they are called non-substantial.

I do not think there is a "less beautiful" side to anyone, and definitely not you. The "supposed" "good" and "bad" is what makes us --the whole package ..(as Buddha says)
Sorry, I replied to your reply to our reply...hihi...oops! have caught your hihi infection. :)) ..just kidding....

You are absolutely right Vani,

I refer to my "less beautiful" side personally to underline that everything has two sides. Me too :)

Big hug to you and thanks for sharing,

with love, Sas
