Thoughts over tea

We can live without religion and meditation,
but we cannot survive without human affection.

Dalai Lama

Today I was drinking my tea while reading the comments on my blog. It felt heart warming to share thoughts like this. It made me realize how important it is to be able to share and feel a connection with other people.

The more I see how many of my actions are conducted by the need to be loved and acknowledged, the more I understand these actions. Isn't it so that the most of our feelings of anger, fear and jealousy find their roots in the fact that we feel denied in our need for love and affection?

I am often amazed by the power of this need and it gives me a feeling of peace when I look around me and see that in fact we are all in need. And how this want for love and affection connects us all. So while I am drinking my tea I think of all the lovely people from all over the world who are drinking tea at this moment too.

We look completely different, have different backgrounds and maybe can't communicate because we speak different languages. But our deepest inner layer is the same, we all need love and affection and as long as we use love to communicate we all can touch and understand each other. Take care and thank you for sharing this Sunday tea :))

There is more hunger in the world
for love and appreciation in this world
than for bread.

What a lovely post, Sas :) I am enjoying this connection and daily sharing of lovely thoughts. So true that we are all in need of love and affection. I have this habit of smiling at even the grouchiest of people, because I feel we tend to be unhappy when we lack love and friendship. They generally turn around if not on day 1 then day 50 for sure :)) A kind word and a gentle glance always works wonders. Awesome shots...love that tea cup. Thanks...I enjoyed sharing today's cup of tea with you. Hugs, Vani

Yes sas I totally agree with you on this. The need for love and affection is so basic and yet there are people in this world who feel they don't have it. If you have just one person in your life who gives you this unconditional love and affection one can be strong enough to deal with anything else in this world. But can everyone have this kind of love and affection in their life? And the answer to that is Yes ..its possible for each one of us to attract that kind of love in our lives.

John Gray in his book " How To Get What You Want and Want What You Have " talks about "love tank" . In which he says to receive love you have to give love and only then your love tank will be full.

Thank you dear Vani and Vinita,

I really enjoy to read your thoughts and feelings towards these subjects and to share stories and insights.

I also believe just like you that what we are sending out to the world will come back to us. Hatred will meet hatred and love will meet love.

Thank you for sharing and the nice link,

with love, Sas

If in our daily life we can smile, if we can be peaceful and happy, not only we,
but everyone will profit from it. This is the most basic kind of peace work.

Sas, just this week, I was thinking I should ask you to post something red...I somehow love that color! And here it is without me asking...telepathic communication does work!! I love the pictures and the thoughts. Wanting to be loved or appreciated is such a basic human emotion and yet it can be a struggle to get it for millions. I especially believe in giving unconditional love to children so that they pass it on as adults!
