Hmm...you got me this time Sas! I read this yesterday..."fell silent"...could not comment. Visited again today..same feeling...totally did not understand this quote :)) . Possibly I am not on the same "spiritual" page as you today. The images are awesome though. Have a lovely Sunday.
Vani
Dear Vani,
thank you for your honest respond, loved that :)
To be honest too I must admitt that I never 'understand' poetry and that is probably why I love it so much.
Some poems give me a certain feeling right away. For me that is enough hihi.
This poem of Silent Lotus gave me the feeling that we search for answers outside ourselves, but we already have everything we need to know inside of us. The 'key' to those insights is to become silent and listen to our inner voice.
I have no idea if the poet himself meant this at all. But this is what his poem brought me and I am thankful for the beautiful feeling it gave me :)
Thank you my friend for sharing your thoughts so openly and have a lovely Sunday too.
with love, Sas
Here is the complete poem without the distraction of my pictures.

Hey Sas! I understood it now. Thanks for the detailed explanation.:)))))) I am sure that is what the poet meant too. Also, the version without photos helped :)... I would not like to call your pictures a distraction though :)... they add so much to the quotes.
You are amazing ...as usual :))

Vani
Sas, I must say this tripped me too like Vani mentioned. I like your explanation that's simple and easy to understand but when I read the poem again, I din't quite understand what love has to do with silence or freedom from fear...perhaps I don't yet have enough spiritual evolvement :)
Oh well, I enjoyed the pics and the poetry all the same, thanks!
