Thank you.... :)

Dear friends,

It has been quite a while since my last post. A lot of things happened this past month and looking back it was an important period for me personal. It has brought me new insights and closer to myself and the people I love.

It was also a period of letting go, as I said goodbye to one of my oldest and dearest friends, my seventeen year's old little dog Pork. For a while I did not want to take pictures or make my blog. It was something we always did together and it was painful to me to pick it up again. This week for the first time I felt the need to take pictures again and I decided to create a new blog as it feels like a new period to me. It feels good and the loving memory of Pork keeps me warm and grateful for such a special friendship :)

I want to thank all the lovely people who shared their thoughts and comments with me these past months. I wish you lots of love and take care, big kiss to all of you,
Sas

Emily Dickinson

My Garden
I.

New feet within my garden go,
New fingers stir the sod;
A troubadour upon the elm
Betrays the solitude.
New children play upon the green,
New weary sleep below;
And still the pensive spring returns,
And still the punctual snow!

Let it Be Forgotten

Let it be forgotten,
as a flower is forgotten,
Forgotten as a fire that once was singing gold,
Let it be forgotten forever and ever,
Time is a kind friend,
he will make us old.If anyone asks,
say it was forgotten
Long and long ago,As a flower, as a fire,
as a hushed footfall
In a long-forgotten snow.

William Blake

'Ah, Sunflower'
Ah, sunflower,
weary of time,
Who countest the steps of the sun;Seeking after that sweet golden clime
Where the traveller's journey is done;Where the Youth pined away with desire,
And the pale virgin shrouded in snow,Arise from their graves, and aspire
Where my Sunflower wishes to go!

Rumi

A Star Without a Name

When a baby is taken from the wet nurse,
it easily forgets her
and starts eating solid food.

Seeds feed awhile on ground,
then lift up into the sun.
So you should taste the filtered light
and work your way toward wisdom
with no personal covering.
That's how you came here,
like a star without a name.
Move across the night sky
with those anonymous lights.

The temple bell stops
but I still hear the sound
coming out of the flowers.

Food for thought

by Ralph Waldo Emerson
Never lose
an opportunity
of seeing
anything beautiful,
for beauty
is God's handwriting.
