Thoughts over tea

Today's post is a very small one because I am tired. I have had a lovely weekend in which I have travelled a lot and saw many new things. It was very nice but now I feel the need to sit down with a cup of tea and to just relax a bit before going to sleep. Do you know the feeling when something you looked forward to for a long time just ended? To me it is difficult to let go and move on. It gives me something like a hangover. As a child I used to have that feeling after returning from a holiday or a sleep over at a friend's place. Guess I haven't changed a lot ;) So far this small post for today. Just one more cup of tea before going to bed and really ending the weekend. Take care and have a nice start of the week :)

Sas, this is a beautiful post! I love the vibrant colors and patterns against black! I really enjoyed it even though it was a shorter post. So many thoughts you express remind me of myself now or as a child. I especially feel the same way as you when something wonderful that I looked forward to just ended...for me it's usually vacations or family visits that leave me craving for more...

Sas, I know this feeling. Sweet post, like saying goodnight, which is ironic because I read it just as I am about to go to bed.

P.S. - that plate is beautiful!

Hello Sas,

I just got back from a short vacation and totally understand what you mean here. I am extremely tired ...but my mind is still on vacation :))While I too feel that the holiday ended, its memories will remain forever to brighten my day when I feel down.
