Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle,
and the life of the candle will not be shortened.
Happiness never decreases by being shared.
Buddha
Today I made this tiny candle arrangement with one Ivy leaf, grass and a little flower. I made it to underline this saying of the Buddha, which I wanted to share because I was feeling happy. The sun was shining and my sister came to join me to for a cup of tea. While drinking our tea we talked about our lives and our struggles, and about the different insights we have had. It felt lovely and warm to talk so openly about our experiences in life.
I wish us all a lovely weekend, with open conversations and tea, take care :))
Just as a candle cannot burn without fire,
men cannot live without a spiritual life.

This post is so warm and beautiful Sas. When I read your blog everyday..with my cup of coffee..it feels just like you may have with your sister..only difference is that you read my mind :)).
Photos are gorgeous ...You can surely create magic, my friend. That is such a lovely arrangement and from the way you describe... it so simple. I love those blue flowers. The quotes are lovely..thanks for digging them out for us...Have a lovely weekend full of sunshine and smiles :))
Vani
Dear Vani,
I am just sipping my coffee while reading your lovely warm comment :)
I am waiting for the sun to shine so I can take some pictures. Your lovely words brought sunbeams anyway :))
A sunny weekend to you too Vani and take care,
with love, Sas
Every time I read your posts I always get the urge to take the next flight and visit with you. To sit in your warm kitchen and sip a cup of tea while looking on to your garden. hehee
Nice post, pretty pictures. Good thoughts. You too enjoy your weekend.
Vinita
Dear Vinita,
You are more than welcome and who knows one day we will... :)
In the meantime we will share our tea in our hearts.
Take care and let's share a cup of Sunday tea tomorrow :))
with love, Sas
You know how usually we have these "must visit dream places" before we die. Mine has been Egypt for a long time. I don't mind not visiting Egypt anymore...as my dream now is to visit you even if it is for 5 minutes. So, ditto Vinita. Count me in too Sas.:))
Hope to meet you some day...until then I am happy sharing cups of tea/coffee with you in my "heart" (as you so beautifully said). :)) Vani
Dear Sas, I got busy with family and visiting family etc that I missed some posts...catching up and enjoying the beautiful pictures! Even though you have used such simple items and made a small composition, the effect is HUGE! The candle and varigated ivy (my fav) with lovely little blue flower is gorgeous. Your quotes are as usual so touching, warm and perfectly chosen for the picture. Thanks for bringing me a smile just when I was so busy and needed one!! Love, Rupa
