Flowers; Grape Hyacinths

Be like the flower, turn your faces to the sun.

- Kahlil Gibran

Last year I gave my mother some Grape Hyacinths in a basket for present. We both love their incredible blue and the lovely little grape shaped flowers. This week when I was visiting her she smiled and gave me a small Hyacinth bouquet.

She proudly told me that she had planted last year's bulbs in her garden and that they bloomed beautiful this spring. So lovely when a gift comes back to you with the same love you gave it away with.

I like tiny little flowers arrangements. They are easy to make and you don't have to pluck a lot of flowers. Everywhere you look around my house there are small still life scenes with different flowers. This yellow beauty below is a Dandelion:))

Even the most common flower will show her beauty when you put one or two of them in a small vase. Strange actually; we buy the most expensive flowers while there are beautiful ones growing besides the sidewalk. Guess when we get used to things we don't see their beauty anymore.

My mother also gave me this Buddha statue and now it has become a small corner in my little hallway together with her lovely Grape Hyacinths. Sometimes love becomes visible. Take care and have a warm and lovely day :))

If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly,
our whole life would change.

Hello Sas, what a treat to the eyes and mind, your blog just gets better everyday....such lovely quotes too...I am loving this journey with you. So true that we take things we see on a daily basis for granted and do not pause to take a look at the beauty around. Thanks for sharing and reminding me to pause and look around...have a lovely evening.

Thank you dear Vani,

I am eating with an old friend tonight and just before I wanted to leave I saw your lovely comment :)

It really feels like we are on a journey together, that is the beauty of sharing. Even though we are so far apart :))

Take care and a lovely evening to you too,

Sas
