Moments of silence

The past is already past.
Don’t try to regain it.
The present does not stay.
Don’t try to touch it.

From moment to moment.
The future has not come;
Don’t think about it
Beforehand.
Whatever comes to the eye,
Leave it be.
There are no commandments
To be kept;
There’s no filth to be cleansed.
With empty mind really
Penetrated, the
dharmas
Have no life.
When you can be like this,
You’ve completed
The ultimate attainment.

Hello Sas, my friend.

I visited your blog today to catch up on about a week's entries. Thank you for lifting my spirits. Your gentle touch with the camera combined with the words that we already know - but need frequent reminding because we forget - is such a gift. Have a great day!

Hi Sas...brilliant quote [I got it this time :)] and lovely shots. Thanks for the gentle reminder. I have yet to not do this "The future has not come; Don’t think about it; Beforehand." :)). Some day perhaps...there I go thinking about the future again :)) ..have a nice week.

Sas, I got all the paragraphs except the 5th one. Wow, now your poetry is truly food for thought! I love the pics, I have two spiderwort plants that are in bloom and was pleasantly surprised to see them here. I just bought a lot of annuals and perennials for my garden and your pics have surely inspired me to get started!!!

big hug to you and thanks for sharing,

Sas, so sweet of you to have that vision of me :) I planted some large pots yesterday but it's raining a bit today :( I am so touched by your warmth and goodness of heart. It brings tears to my eyes many times....don't ever lose that good heart of yours, it will certainly lead to you to great things in life - that I have no doubt!
