Floating

'Love one another, but make not a bond of love:
Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls'

Today when I was taking pictures of these fragile blue flowers in my garden, I remembered this quote of Kahlil Gibran again. It has helped me to let things flow freely instead of trying to control them. It feels like I am going through a new phase in my life in which I get new insights but also new challenges. And when I look around I see that a lot of people are going through the same process. That makes me happy because it gives me the feeling that we are on our way :)
There was a time when I wanted everybody to be exactly like me and a time I wanted to be completely different from the rest. Now a day those feelings have faded and I feel like we are all very different and at the same time very much alike. Just like the flowers above :))

Today was the first day without rain for a long time and it felt suddenly like spring. At one point the sun briefly shined while I watched these little flowers gently floating around. Sometimes life seems so easy hihihGuess we are all floating around in the same bowl, maybe you will see me floating by soon! Till that time take care and have a lovely day :))

Your every post is so well thought out and well worded. The thoughts are so positive and inspiring. The gentle pace that you have allowed to enter your life can be felt by all of us too. I guess we all need to slow down and smell the roses, drink a cup of tea, take a walk and make nature a part of our daily lives. Its good for our mental as well as our physical health or else the life can be stressfull.

Deeply moving and inspiring post. That's a brilliant quote. Sas, you have a talent to do pick out gems..in words or in shots. Those flowers are so lovely and fragile as us humans. I loved your thoughts... so beautiful to read such enlightening stuff everyday. Thanks so much for sharing and taking us along with you on your journey. I strongly believe that deep inside we are all alike..with the same insecurities, deep affection and need for love. I am definitely enjoying reading your post every day...
Hope to see you floating by me soon :))
Have a lovely day...

Dear Vinita and Vani :))

Thank you for your lovely and warm comments.

You are right Vinita when you talk about allowing yourself to let the gentle pace enter.

I am very lucky that the people who I love the most (my man, mother and sister) are on the same path. This way we can help eachother gently when some of us starts to run around again :)

Just like this conversation between you and me helps me to underline the importance of taking one step at a time.

You said so beautifully Vani that deep inside we are all alike, I agree.
And by sharing our thoughts we are reaching out to eachother :)

Thank you for sharing my friends and I hope you will have a beautiful day,

Take care,

Sas

I love this post. When I read the line about 'a lot of us are going through similar phases' I smiled. Similar and different... yes, thats the way we are; all of us, travelling different paths and finally headed the same place

Dear Elisa Day and Vineeta,

So nice to hear you recognized something of yourself in my post.

My mother always says the same as you Vineeta; we are all walking different paths but in the end reaching the same destination.

I always loved that saying and the older I get the more I realize that it is not just a saying :)

Big hug to both of you and take care,

Sas

Sas, I don't know how you manage to capture such beautiful shots every day but it certainly reflects the tender, loving and peaceful phase of your life in your pics! The beautiful heartfelt thoughts you write are so touching and it's a gentle reminder for all of us to take life a bit slower and less serious. Thank you so much for sharing and being a part of my everyday life!!!!
