Today's flowers are Hyacinths in very powerful blue and purple tones. They almost seem 'unreal' with their intense colours and fleshy green leaves.
My entire living room is filled with their intense perfume. It reminds me of my grand mother who loved these flowers for their scent. On her birthday her whole house was heavenly scenting of Hyacinths and Freesia flowers :)
This picture brings back memories of the story of Jack and the beanstalk hihi, somehow nature always provides the most beautiful gifts for my imagination :)
The petals of the young flowers are blue and match beautiful with the bright green leafs. I love this cool and fresh spring combination. 
But this is my favourite picture; purple/violet with vibrant green and a touch of aubergine. What a combination! I wish my house was bigger so I could create a dozen more style rooms in all the colours of the rainbow :)
